Biography
Norman Kistabish, aka Mony, is an Anicinabe artist from the Pikogan community in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Over the years, Norman has divided his time between being a fishing guide on the Harricana River, where he enjoyed telling stories and legends, and being a multi-instrumentalist playing violin and guitar. With the Musique Nomade team and in collaboration with Minwashin, Norman Kistabish performed the song Anoki, about trapping, hunting and fishing with a net, a song passed down from his father-in-law.
