Biographie

F.R.A.K.A.S.S. is a Wendat artist from the Wendake community. Inspired from the age of 13, he discovered his passion for writing, beginning his artistic journey as a poet. While listening to Tupac, one of his favorite artists, he recognized the deep connections between hip-hop and poetry. This revelation opened a new path for him: setting his poems to music and sharing his voice through hip-hop.

Like the artists who inspire him, F.R.A.K.A.S.S. uses his lyrics as a tool to fight racism, raise awareness, and educate about Indigenous realities. His songs reach beyond his own community of Wendake, with some paying tribute to Indigenous women. For him, music is an outlet—a way to express his reality and emotions.

Active both on stage and in his community, he notably performed at the Wendake Trail in 2025. He also values collaboration and has performed alongside Gilles Sioui on the song Planer, a suicide prevention initiative supported by Health Canada.

Hip-hop artist, poet, and activist, F.R.A.K.A.S.S. primarily creates in French, with the ambition of incorporating the Wendat language into his work in the near future.
