Cazi is an Innu artist, from Pessamit, whose music bridges the worlds of alternative pop and R&B. Through deeply poetic and introspective songwriting, he transforms his emotions into songs that resonate with authenticity. Each track invites listeners to reflect, feel, and find a connection to their own stories.

Cazi began his musical journey in 2021, driven by a sincere need to express himself and share his vision of life. Since then, he has cultivated an artistic style centered on sensitivity, vulnerability, and hope. His lyrics explore themes such as the search for identity, resilience, and the desire to believe in better days—themes that particularly resonate with those facing similar struggles.

Influenced by artists like Slimane, Pierre-Yves Vachon, and Simon Picard, Cazi crafts a unique sound that blends rich, meaningful lyrics with modern musical elements, combining emotion, melody, and depth.

Currently preparing his debut EP—slated for release later this year—Cazi moves forward with a clear ambition: to create music that brings people together, inspires them, and reminds everyone that it is possible to find one’s own light, even during the hardest times.
