Leila Twenish

We would like to honour the memory of Leila Twenish, one of the participant and cousin of Emilio Wawatie, who left us too soon. Her luminous presence, her deep attachment to Anicinabe culture and language, and her invaluable contribution to this project, remain engraved in our hearts. His spirit lives on in this collective work, which celebrates the link between the Anicinabe peoples and the cycles of nature.
