Myrann Newashish

Multidisciplinary artist from Wemotaci, Myrann has lived her entire life to the rhythm of music. From her first steps, she has been immersed in Pow Wow and dance. At the age of 10, she developed a passion for singing, both traditional and modern. She writes her songs with ease in French, English, and Atikamekw. Her musical style recalls the ethereal sounds found in Björk and (((O))).  Myrann (miran), which means "flying" in her native language, is an artist to discover who is slowly spreading her wings.
