Cory Jck

Cory Jck is an Innu singer-songwriter originally from the community of Sheshatshiu in Labrador, now living in Ekuanitshit on Quebec's North Shore. His musical style is a vibrant blend of country and rock, drawing inspiration from the legendary band Kashtin. For Cory Jck, music is a sanctuary and the most authentic form of personal expression, a passion that drives him. A skilled musician, he plays guitar, bass, and electric guitar. "Always follow your dreams" is the motto that guides his journey and continues to inspire others. This philosophy led him to create his first country-rock song, Numushum, with the Musique Nomade team in Ekuanitshit in November 2023.
