Biography
Quinn Bonnell is a Mi'gmaq singer-songwriter from Burnt Church, New Brunswick. He uses his fantastic instrumental skills to combine folk, blues and roots styles with brio. Bonnell was a dedicated guitarist for several cover bands and having a number of short appearances in Miramichi bands to his credit, he decided to embark on his own musical endeavors, drawing influences from artists ranging from John Mayer, Kings Of Leon, Radiohead and Gary Clark Jr. He released an EP in 2017 followed by an album "Wonder" in 2019. Nominated for Indigenous Artist of the Year at the MNB Awards 2021. He unveils his splendid song Long Way Down, recorded during a Musique Nomade stopover, which appears on the compilation album On the Road - Sitansisk (St. Mary's).
