Biography
Spirit Wind Singers of the North is a traditional Anicinabe singing group from the Timiskaming community in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. With Marilyn Chevrier-Wills, John Wills, Grace Wabie, Carole Cloutier and Mélissa Gill, Spirit Wind Singers of the North exude incredible strength, and aim to share their knowledge and inspire young people. Produced by Musique Nomade and in collaboration with Minwashin, the group unveils the songs Wishi Ta and Gwan Do Day to the sound of their drums and traditional Anicinabe songs.
