Biography
Jennifer Bellefleur is a young Innu singer-songwriter originally from Pakua-shipi on the Lower North Shore. At Unamen Shipu, along with other students, she collaborated with Marc Tremblay, the art teacher and photographer from this community to produce the books Unamen Shipu 1 to 4 and a film presenting their cultures and Innu realities. She also recorded with the Wapikoni Mobile mobile studio at the 2008 and 2009 stopovers of Uashat mak Mani-Utenam and participated in the television series TAM (Talents autochtones musicaux) where she sang with Sylvester Mestokosho (APTN 2011) and Chic-Choc (APTN, October 2011).
