Biography
In memory of Mikon Niquay-Ottawa.
Atikamekw from the community of Manawan. It was in 1994 that she performed for the first time in her community "I played the flute alone on stage, and I was really nervous. I think I played the shortest version of Vive le vent in History.’’ Great music fan, her style reflects her taste for blues as well as for traditional music. For Mikon, composing is a cry from the heart to express and to assert herself. She wants to travel with her music and to meet other artists who share her passion.
