Biography
Béatrice Noël and Sabryna Godbout are two Wendat artists from the Wendake community. Together, they form the duo ENDI’, which means “I am / we are” in Wendat. Dynamic and committed, they actively engage in artistic creation and cultural transmission, through digital illustration, creative workshops, and music.
Driven by a deep desire for cultural reconnection and pride in their identity, they work to revitalize Wendat social songs, blending tradition with modernity. Their first cover draws on an archive of a song performed in 1911 by Prosper Vincent and recorded by the ethnologist Marius Barbeau.
Through their work, ENDI’ aims to encourage (re)connection to Wendat identity, promote cultural education, and inspire engagement through actions that value the appreciation and transmission of their heritage. For them, revisiting these songs creates a living, unifying work that fosters collective pride.
