Biography
Anne-Sophie is a young Innu singer from Pessamit. From the age of six, she sang with passion wherever she could. Her natural talent was quickly recognized, and she was enrolled in singing lessons in Baie-Comeau, where she took part in several end-of-session performances.
Anne-Sophie made her stage debut at the Fête des Innus, performing alongside her sister Anne-Pier — a memorable experience that confirmed her desire to pursue music. Since then, she has also lent her voice to weddings and community events.
During Musique Nomade’s stopover in Pessamit, Anne-Sophie recorded a traditional song, showcasing a moving and promising voice. Already well on her artistic path, she represents a new generation of Innu artists proudly carrying their culture forward.
