Napess

Napess is a Naskapi-Innu singer-songwriter from Kawawachikamach, a small community located on the northern border of Quebec and Labrador. Born into a musical family and inspired by his father Yvon Vollant and his uncle Florent Vollant, Napess learned to play the guitar and write his own music at a young age. This fall, he unveils his first single Ashtem Nasheu, a lively folk song with a nice touch of harmonica. Ashtem Nasheu, which means Follow Me in Innu, is a dedication to his wife, children and family.
