Dan-Georges Mckenzie

Dan-Georges Mckenzie is an Innu singer-songwriter from the North Shore community of Uashat mak Mani-Utenam. In winter 2022, he unveiled his first EP, Uitamui, produced in collaboration with Studio Makusham and Musique Nomade. In his luminous country-folk-pop songs, Dan-Georges speaks of resilience, love and family. On stage, he has undeniable charisma, loves to entertain, and is sure to make you want to sing in Innu-aimun. In summer 2023, he unveils his new country-folk single Mishkutinam(u), co-written in frinnu (French and Innu-aimun) with Alex Burger, preparing audiences for a debut album to be released in 2024.
