Lenny Coocoo

Lenny Coocoo is an Atikamekw DJ and producer from the community of Wemotaci. Inspired by the duo Bingo Players, he developed a passion for electronic music and began his journey as a DJ. His recent track, Nipa Nimin, recorded with Musique Nomade, is an electronic song with lyrics written and performed by the artist Kawish, expressing the desire to dance to forget one's troubles. In Atikamekw, Nipa Nimin conveys the feeling of soaring into the clouds. Already performing as a DJ at local events, Lenny dreams of sharing his music far beyond his community.
