Musique Nomade is a non-profit organization that works for the development and recognition of Indigenous talents and identities in music, a key partner of artists in creation and promotion.
For Indigenous artists who wish to undertake a musical career, Musique Nomade is an important partner that offers tools adapted to the needs of each and everyone.
The organization mobilizes a recording team that travels the territory to meet artists and share Musique Nomade expertise in musical promotion.

The Musique Nomade team travels throughout the territory to meet Indigenous artists. The organization offers free services to produce musical recordings in the city as well as in Indigenous communities. Many artists have taken their first steps in music in collaboration with the Musique Nomade studio.
Musique Nomade releases several albums, EPs, singles, and music videos of a wide variety of musical styles every year, available for free on Nikamowin.com and distributed on digital platforms.
Musique Nomade offers opportunities for cross-cultural encounters and co-creation projects between Indigenous artists and diversity artists. The mix of genres and cultures offers unique artistic experiences allowing audiences to come together around unifying works.
Musique Nomade is a producer and collaborator of shows and events featuring several artists from its network. Our big flagship concert event, NIKAMOTAN MTL, is held each summer as part of the Festival Présence autochtone / Montréal First Peoples' Festival at Place des Festivals.
